In the case of events requiring the intervention of Public Safety (Police, Fire or Ambulance), please call 9-1-1 or 7-1-1 for the hard of hearing.

In the case of a hit an run or a breaking and entering (a suspect entered a closed area, including a shed), you must call 9-1-1.

To report the loss or theft of a Canadian passeport, you must call the Canadian Passport Program at 1-800-567-6868.

Online police report :

If the event occurred on the territory of the Agglomération de Longueuil, you have the opportunity, if desired, to fill your police report online for the following four situations:

Theft, without your knowledge (no known suspect)
Mischief (property damage, vandalism)
Harassing calls (unknown suspect)
The loss of an object that requires a police report

The information provided will be used to better serve you and will remain confidential once received.

If you believe to be the victim of harassing communications and you do not know who the messages are from, you can report the situation using our online report. If you know the author of the harassing messages, you must contact 9-1-1.

In the case of telemarketing fraud or pyramidal scheme, please contact the RCMP.

Please include in the report :

The date the communications started
Their form (phone calls, text messages, emails, etc.)
Their frequency
Their content
Contact information available if any (call display, email address, number, etc.)
Any particular context than can be connected to these occurrences (recent conflict or misunderstanding for example)
Any other relevant information

An officer will take care of your report and contact you within a few days for clarifications. If the report is approved, you will receive an official file number.

The submission of a false police report is considered a crime (public mischief : Criminal code art. 140).

If the theft occurred without your knowledge and there are no witnesses (to your knowledge), one of the options available to you is to report the event by completing our online forms.

Form 1 "Event reported by the citizen" is used to record your personal information and the circumstances of the theft. The goal is to obtain critical data needed for analysis and investigation.

Form 2 "List of stolen goods" must be completed carefully since the information provided enables us to return a recovered item to its rightful owner.
